Le Cantanti di Chicago
Dear friends of Le Cantanti di Chicago,

Thank you for your years of support and love. You held us up as we struggled financially during our early days, and you stuck with us through the pandemic. You cheered for us on the Kennedy Center stage, and you celebrated all of our milestones. There would have been no Le Cantanti without you. Thank you.

We now repay your generosity by disbursing our savings to organizations that will continue shining love into the world. Thank you to Hyde Park Union Church, for providing us with a safe and hospitable space for rehearsals for nearly a decade; to St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish, for giving us our first concert space and being our partner in making music and sharing our treasures with our global family; and to OMNIA, Catholic Legal Immigration Network, and the National Immigration Justice Center, for continuing to fight for our neighbors.

In 2015, we were willed into existence by the sheer gumption of Dhilanthi, and we owe her our deepest gratitude for creating this sisterhood. We also give thanks for all of the LCDC members who have entered our choir room; their voices helped us bring a bit of light to the world through music.

As we give our farewells now, we each carry this mission with us through our own lives, and we encourage everyone, in your own ways, to join us in uplifting the human spirit and promoting peace, hope, and wholeness in the world.

Keep singing until we meet again.

Love and gratitude,
Le Cantanti di Chicago
